The latest Yoichi single malt will replace both the previous NAS release and the remaining age statement whiskies. The change comes as demand continues to stretch Nikka’s aged stock, with this new Yoichi Single Malt (made of of whiskies of various ages) aimed at representing this special distillery’s direct-coal-heated, peated yet fruity style.

Aroma: Slightly peaty and deepening, the aroma gradually unfolds towards candied fruit, citrus fruits and spices, extending to more and more layers of floral notes.
Taste: Balanced aromas of peat, smoke, spice, fresh fruit and nuts. It has a chocolate flavor with a peat aroma.
Finish: Full of ripe fruit, the peat has an herbal and malty character, and a hint of saltiness rounds out the palate, showing depth and coastal umami.
